This study is designed to evaluate the influence of national drug pricing policies and VAT rates on critical areas such as the availability of veterinary medical services, state budget revenues, and food prices. By examining these relationships, the research seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of how policy decisions in these areas can impact broader economic and social outcomes. Specifically, the study focuses on assessing the effects of national drug pricing policies on the accessibility and affordability of veterinary medicines and services, identifying potential challenges to availability. It also compares the financial impacts of various VAT rates on veterinary services and medicines, highlighting the implications for both consumers and service providers. Additionally, the analysis explores how different VAT rates affect state budget revenues, considering potential trade-offs. Finally, the study investigates how VAT rate changes for veterinary medicines and services may influence food prices, offering insights for developing policies, including possible VAT rate reductions.
