Development of a Bioeconomy Strategy

Project description

The basis for the development of the Latvian Bioeconomy Strategy 2030 is the Cabinet of Ministers Order no. 275 "On the Government Action Plan for the Implementation of the Declaration on the Intended Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers headed by Maris Kučinskis".

Preparation of Latvian Bioeconomy Strategy 2030 was delegated to the Ministry of Agriculture. Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies was responsible for the technical preparation of the document, including communication with stakeholders – industries and research institutions.

Latvian Bioeconomy Strategy 2030 is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers at the end of 2017.
