Project description

This study will aim at exploring the possibilities of sustainable and smart territorial development in the perspective of adaptation of green and digital innovations in the rural SMEs with a particular focus on the rural tourism. Another dimension of this project is assessing the values of consumers consuming rurally produced goods and rural services. This dimension is very important as in the coming years, the EU rural entrepreneurs will have to go through a major transformation determined by the European Green Deal and its Farm to Fork and Biodiversity strategies that are aimed to mitigate climate change, reverse biodiversity loss, and feed Europeans in a healthy way. All this will require rural entrepreneurs to be open to changes and adaptation, and to be ready to introduce new requirements and technologies in their enterprises.
