The project aims to assess and find solutions to the challenges of migration and demographics in order to promote the development of a sustainable and cohesive society in Latvia. The project use an innovative interdisciplinary approach, using triangulation of quantitative, qualitative and experimental methods and a participatory approach to knowledge creation. The study provide data-based analysis, examining the diverse impact of migration on demographic changes and regional disparities. Special attention paid to the impact of migration of talents and highly qualified professionals on human capital, including assessing the role of educational institutions in attracting and retaining human capital. The role of culture in regional revitalization also was analyzed. The project results provide an extensive analysis of the challenges of demography and migration, emphasizing social sustainability and inclusive growth. By assessing the diversity of demographic and migration processes, research-based sustainable policy solutions offered on the issues of population aging and depopulation.
