Sustainable solutions for Development of the aquaculture sector in Latvia

Project description

The research grant project will identify sustainable solutions for the development of the aquaculture sector in Latvia. The research is in the social sciences in the field of Economics and Business Sciences, including issues of the fisheries and aquaculture sub-sectors of the agricultural sector and the food production sectors.

Objective: to develop sustainable solutions for the development of the aquaculture sector in Latvia.

Tasks:

1) identify institutional, political and economic barriers to the development of the aquaculture sector;

2) find and evaluate sustainable solutions for the growth and development of aquaculture.
