Intellectual services related to preparing a background report on the agricultural innovation system in Latvia

Project description

This project was conducted to prepare a background report on the agricultural innovation system of Latvia. Objective of this report is to explore the relationships between innovation, productivity and sustainability in food and agriculture in Latvia and to examine the respective roles of the government and private sector in strengthening agricultural innovation system and facilitating adoption of innovations at the farm and agri-food business level. It is describing opportunities and challenges for the food and agricultural sector of Latvia and the policy framework that affects the sector.

This report was used by the client as a background information to prepare their own independent report.
